Medical Physics for Life International Webinar: Radiomics Research-Putting it to Practice

The talk will cover the concept of radionics and tools available to do this research and how it can be translated for clinical research. It will also cover the components of radiomics analytics which include image segmentation, feature extraction, feature selection, modelling and performance validation. Briefly,  she will mention the tools available for radiomics and the current challenges in translating this research for routine clinical practice. I will also touch base on some of the application of radiomics with examples from her own work on radiation pneumonitis prediction in lung cancer and disease outcome prediction in head and neck cancer.
